Taylor Law’s managing member, Thomas Taylor, has represented clients in state and federal courts and administrative bodies throughout the country, including Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and New York. He has first-chaired jury trials throughout Missouri. He has appeared in front of municipal courts and governments throughout Missouri and Illinois on both civil and criminal matters. He has successfully briefed and argued cases before state and federal courts of appeals. Mr. Taylor graduated from the prestigious Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2005. Following graduation, Mr. Taylor practiced in Chicago, where he represented a wide range of businesses in various areas including consumer credit regulation, consumer fraud, personal injury, ERISA, and employment discrimination.

Mr. Taylor then returned to St. Louis and joined the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis. Here, Mr. Taylor prosecuted state level crimes including murder, rape, assault, robbery, burglary, fraud, DWI, and drug related crimes. During this time, Mr. Taylor researched, drafted and presented consumer fraud protection information for various community groups and acted as the office liaison to the 7th Police District Community Affairs Bureau and the Bevo Mill neighborhood.

Immediately prior to founding Taylor Law, LLC, Mr. Taylor worked at a local firm where he advised clients and litigated cases involving commercial litigation, collections, employment law, criminal defense, DWI/DUI defense, family law, municipal law, orders of protection, personal injury and juvenile law before various courts and administrative bodies.
